The information on your use of our website (including your IP address) that is generated by the cookie is transferred to one of Google’s servers in the USA and stored there. Google uses this information to analyze your use of the website, to compile reports for the website operator about activities on its website, and to provide other services connected with use of the website and of the Internet generally. Google may also transfer this information to third parties if it is obliged to do so by law, or if it has external contract data processing done. Google will definitely not link your IP address to any other data it has. By adjusting your browser settings you can prevent cookies being installed, but we should like to point out that you may then no longer be able to make full use of all our website’s functions. 2.2 Usage Data
2.2.1 General Use of Usage Data
For one thing, we collect and store log files for safety reasons, because they enable us to find out whether our portal is being misused and to follow up any specific instances that call for corrective action. From the other data and from the information obtained from Google Analytics, we can learn for another thing how our service is used. We need insights like this in order to be able to offer you a safe, user-friendly Internet service, on top of which they also help us to improve the marketing of our platform.

3. Links to other Websites
Our own website may contain links to the websites of other providers who are in no way associated with us (external links). External links are specially marked as such on our website. Once you click on an external link, we no longer have any influence over the processing of any personal data (e.g. your IP address, or the URL containing the link) that is thereby transferred to the third party, because their actions are obviously beyond our control. We therefore cannot and will not assume any liability for the way such personal data is used or processed by third parties.
4. Information, Correction, Erasure, Blocking
If you send us a request in writing or in text form, we will tell you at any time which of your personal data we have stored. You can also request us at any time to block or erase the data. The only data that is not erased is that required for completing outstanding assignments or for asserting rights and enforcing claims, along with any data that we are obliged to retain by law; however, any such data that is excluded from erasure will then be blocked.
5. Safety
Both technically and in terms of organization, we take safety measures to ensure that the personal data of our customers and of visitors to our website are protected against loss, incorrect modification, or unauthorized access by third parties. For our part, only authorized persons ever have access to your personal data, and even then only to the extent required for the purposes specified above.
