Yatta Solutions is led by the managing directors Dr. Christian Schneider and Johannes Jacop.

Christian Schneider is a dedicated software engineer and IT consultant. He is a loving father and husband and committed software enthusiast. Prior to his work on and for Yatta Solutions, Christian was a member of the Fujaba project team at the University of Kassel  Software Engineering Research Group under Prof. Dr. Albert Zündorf. For his work in the field of distribution and replication of complex object structures, he received a PhD in 2008. Christian had previously earned a degree in computer science at the Technical University Braunschweig.

Prior to studying computer science, Christian had already designed and realized databases and software projects in different programming languages for the Expo 2000 GmbH. Now he lectures and holds workshops at national and international conferences on topics such as story diagrams, template- and model-based software development, project management and reverse engineering of complex software systems.

Christian has been working for Yatta Solutions since its inception in 2008. In particular, he is leading the Yatta Labs and manages the project deployment for various major companies.

In his former life, Johannes Jacop was a fully qualified lawyer with additional training in economic sciences. He studied law, majoring in commercial and corporate law at the University of Bayreuth, and attended a judicial clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Munich. Prior to his engagement at Yatta Solutions, Jacop was working for a renowned corporate law firm in Munich.

In 2008 he founded and established Yatta Solutions together with Christian Schneider. Prior to that, he and Schneider jointly managed the Prometheus Project. These days, Jacop continues his involvement in the start-up scene, assisting new founders at every step, starting from developing their business idea to a successful market entry. The promotion of entrepreneurship in Germany is very close to his heart.

These days, Jacop’s main responsibilities within Yatta Solutions include business development and investor relations. He is a passionate business man, software engineering evangelist and entrepreneur.
