Key responsibilities & tasks

Be the driving force behind every Yatta event

• Planning, budgeting, coordination and execution of all Yatta events

  • Internally and externally

  • Hosted by Yatta or third parties

  • Nationally and internationally

  • With all hands on deck

• Build and develop valuable and inspiring themes—from ideation and execution to growth

• Find and coordinate extraordinary venues and premium vendors

• Be a charming host and helpful spirit at the same time

Thoughtful long-term planning and brilliant execution of all events

• Propose and develop our event lineup

  • Help us grow the Yatta team spirit through our gatherings—and promote continuous improvement with all Yatta Academy events

  • Source event opportunities in our markets and make sure we focus time and resources on the most promising, relevant and impactful ones

  • Align with our product roadmap, get involved in our campaigns and address tech and software developments, trends and topics

• Collaborate closely with all involved teams—from design and content through strategy to marketing and sales

• Oversee and ensure prime quality of content and entertainment at all events

• Manage the event schedule and setup, prepare for the unexpected—and supervise everything

Build and grow a thriving community—through live experiences and gatherings

• Help us invite and host important guests, inspiring speakers, and relevant press

• Invite and coordinate event partners—and develop sustainable win-win relationships

• Support our Yatta Academy growth with inspiring formats on a range of topics—in tech and non-tech fields

Required qualifications

Education & skills

• A completed university degree in event management, marketing, communication and/or an equivalent academic or professional qualification

• 3+ years of experience in event management (preferably in event agencies, design-oriented companies or startups in B2B)

• Excellent German, both written and spoken, as well as very good English skills

• Unmatched in time management, event organization and service

• Proficient in team handling, event coordination and problem solving

Personality and way of working

• Strong team player and communicator with a sense of value, impact and purpose

• The ability to understand our business environment and goals combined with the will to pursue personal development and growth while not losing sight of delivering high-quality results

• Willing to roll up your sleeves, dive deep and get the job done, including:

  • Willingness to travel and work late hours for and during events

  • The ability to stay focused while under fire and dealing effectively with the unexpected

• Interested in tech, startup and software topics
